Meet Jose Rodriguez SESI Consulting Engineers Newest Principal

Meet Jose Rodriguez. Jose joined SESI Consulting Engineers in 2021 and has played a key role in expanding the firm’s geotechnical and geostructural engineering capabilities. He has led the design and oversight of major projects across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, including complex urban developments such as 164 4th Avenue and 22 Chapel Street in Brooklyn, and landmark high-rise projects like 432 Park Avenue in Manhattan. With extensive experience in support of excavation, underpinning, deep foundations, and subsurface investigations, Jose has also managed large-scale logistics and warehouse developments, such as the Tac Pal Logistics Center, a 1.5 million square warehouse development in Palmyra, New Jersey. His work has involved close collaboration with regulatory agencies including the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New York City Transit Authority, helping to deliver creative engineering solutions across a variety of challenging environments.  

Throughout his career at SESI, Jose has demonstrated a strong commitment to interdisciplinary coordination, working seamlessly with site, civil, and environmental teams to guide projects from investigation through construction. Whether navigating the complexities of projects near transit infrastructure or managing subsurface conditions at redevelopment sites, Jose brings a thoughtful and innovative approach to engineering challenges. His leadership continues to strengthen SESI’s reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality solutions that balance technical excellence with client and community needs.
